Over the past century and a half, Nashville has grown into a diverse modern metropolis while retaining all the charm and hospitality one would expect from a Southern capital city. Quite the contrary, in addition to country music, the city supports a critically acclaimed symphony, opera, ballet, repertory theatre and Broadway shows.
